Resell rights Explained Before you buy any Resale Rights package it is very important to check its restrictions and/or limitations.  Always make sure you are aware of the information outlined in the Reseller's license and that you are very clear on the rights that come with your resale rights product.  For Example the license may or may not allow you to give away a particular ebook as bonus or sell it on auction sites. However what you cannot and must not do is          attempt to sell this material or alter its content in any way. You will never make          any money from giveaway rights However what giveaway rights are extremely          good for is building trust and enticing prospects to opt in to your list or          newsletter. Or You can give them away as part of a larger product offer, as          incentives and bonuses to encourage prospects to buy from you.          Basic Resale Rights: If you have bought this kind of package it means          you have license to resell the ebook or software as many times as you like and          keep all of the profit. But you still may not change any of the content within the          ebook in any way. You also may not be able to set your own price on the item.          Be very clear that you cannot and must not claim the product to be your own.          In some cases when you buy the resell rights there are restrictions as to where or          how you can sell the product.  For example some authors do not allow their          ebook to be sold on Ebay or any other auction site.  You cannot give them          away for free and you cannot offer them as a bonus on your membership site.          If you have Basic Resale Rights you may not pass on the resale rights to          your buyers. Remember too it is wise to read each and every agreement very          carefully as they are all different.          Master Resell Rights: You can do a lot more with your ebooks if you          have purchased the Master Resell Rights along with them. You have almost          complete autonomy. You can include them as bonuses in your own membership          site or You can give them away.          Naturally if you have paid good money for them you will usually want to resell          them for profit but one of the best things about master resell rights is that you          can also sell the ‘Resell Rights License’ and this makes the package more          worthwhile and thus generally commands a greater price. But again what price          you put on your package is entirely up to you.  Generally there are no          restrictions as to where you may trade your master resale rights products you are          free to do as you wish and remember - You keep all of the profits for yourself.          One word of warning.  It is still wise to read the Master Resell Rights          Agreement very carefully.
